How notifications work
Every plan includes a base allocation of notifications per term. A notification is any email or SMS segment sent through the platform. SMS messages are segmented into 160-character blocks — a 200-character message counts as 2 notification units.
Overage beyond your included allocation is charged at 1p per notification.
Example: Funding Declaration Reminder
You send a reminder to a parent via email and SMS. The SMS is 200 characters.
SMS (200 chars / 160): 2 notifications
Total: 3 notifications (3p overage if beyond allowance)
