Introducing Early Tree

2 min read by Early Tree Team

We're Early Tree, and we're building modern software for early years education.

Why we exist

If you've worked in or with UK early years settings, you've probably experienced the frustration of outdated systems, fragmented tools, and software that seems designed for accountants rather than practitioners.

We started Early Tree because we believe nurseries, pre-schools, and childminders deserve better. Better tools. Better experiences. Better support.

What we're building

We're focused on three products:

Early Tree Nursery Management System

Our flagship product is a modern, end-to-end nursery operating system. It handles everything from child profiles and attendance to observations and parent communications—all in one place that actually makes sense.

It's currently in invitation-only beta. We're working with a small group of settings to ensure we get it right before opening more widely.

Inspector Who

Ofsted inspection intelligence and analytics. Search reports, track inspectors, follow settings, and understand patterns across the early years sector. Launching September 2025.

Early Years Funding Portal

A modern portal for funding claims that reduces admin overhead and improves accuracy. Nursery portal and parent portal, digital parent declarations, and flexible reporting. Launching December 2025.

Our approach

We build software with real users, not for them. That means:

  • Invitation-only betas so we can work closely with early adopters
  • Rapid iteration based on genuine feedback
  • Clear, honest communication about what we're building and why

We're not trying to build the next unicorn. We're trying to build tools that genuinely help early years settings do their jobs better.
